Cosmic Love is a choice

We have reduced love to something personal, a partner, family, job, pets, football club and, if you are German, a car.

But do we also love the water, the trees, or the air we breathe?

Are we capable of loving life as it is?

Without our wishful-thinking about what could be better.

In our material oriented society, it is easy to forget what Cosmic Love means. Perhaps we don’t even know what it is and think. What is he talking about? Yet another spiritual “Weichspüler” (fabric softener) that wants to escape the hard facts of reality.

But exactly the opposite is the case. Cosmic Love is an authentic experience, and the best of all, it is independent of the circumstances. It can save us from ourselves. For those who know it, it is everything; for those who do not know it, life is still a problem that needs a solution.

Meister Eckhart called it the basic principle of the divine being.

Rumi said: “Love is the bridge between you and everything.”

Cosmic Love heals the feeling of being separate, it is the experience of unity.

The big question is: do we want to continue to find reasons, why we have every right to suffer (and there really are enough of them) or do we want to take responsibility for life?

It is our choice.
