I AM CONSCIOUSNESS — UNDERSTANDING OUR TRUE SELF — PART 1
I AM CONSCIOUSNESS
CONSCIOUSNESS IS A MYSTERY
If you try to hold or catch it, it escapes into the infinite space of existence.
We cannot clearly define what it is.
All statements are approximations, but not a definitive description.
Having said this, we can mention that there are two types of consciousness. Cosmic & Individual
Remember that existence is sometimes paradoxical, and the linear and dual mind cannot grasp it. Recognizing “I am consciousness” goes beyond the mind.
COSMIC CONSCIOUSNESS
Cosmic consciousness is beyond mental understanding. It is the mystical experience of Oneness, impersonal and nondual. Many names are given to it: God, Brahman, Tao, Allah, and so on.
The world arises and grows from it in this moment.
The concept of creation is a misunderstanding of cosmic consciousness in action.
Cosmic consciousness can be at rest or in action. It is beyond time and space when it is at rest and in time and space when it is in action.
Self-realization is the conscious union with the cosmic consciousness.
Higher states of existence are not known, but potentially possible, as Cosmic Consciousness is limitless.
INDIVIDUAL CONSCIOUSNESS
I am aware of the world, therefore also of myself.
We can only know the world if we know ourselves, and we can only know ourselves if we know the world.
Awareness of the world and awareness of ourselves are one. Only both together lead to self-realization.
Individual consciousness is the ability to recognize the dance of life.
Self-realization is the union of individual and cosmic consciousness. It is the perfect state.
THE PERFECT STATE OR THE TRINITY OF REALISATION OF I AM CONSCIOUSNESS
Hinduism
Self-Realisation is I Am Consciousness.
In Sanskrit, it is called; Sat Chit Ananda
Sat — (सत्): Truth or Existence
Chit — (चित्): Consciousness or Awareness
Ananda (आनन्द): Bliss or Joy
Sat — Truth or Existence
Pure being or existence. Eternal, beyond time, form, and space, unchanging. The very ground of everything. The soil is where life growths. Absolute reality. Oneness.
Chit — Consciousness or Awareness
Existence is conscious of itself. I know I am. Pure awareness beyond interpretation.
Ananda — Bliss or Joy
Pure, infinite bliss or joy. It reflects the profound and unending joy that comes from realizing one’s true nature as the ultimate reality.
Sufism
In Sufism, this trinity is called Haqq al-Yaqin and the notions of “Haqq,” “Shuhud,” and “Wajd.”
Haqq (حَقّ) — Truth or Reality
Shuhud (شهود) — Witnessing or Consciousness
Wajd (وجد) — Ecstasy or Bliss
Christianity
Being or I Am
The Mystical Experience
Beatific vision
Buddhism
Dharmakaya (the Truth Body of the Buddha) and Tathata (suchness)
Prajna (wisdom) and Sati (mindfulness)
Nirvana, or Enlightenment
To summarize, we can say that this trinity follows universal patterns that we find in all cultures and in every epoch, or we are dealing with a truth that transcends time and culture.

WISDOM IS THE POWER
Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.
It is not actually clear who said this truth, Albert Einstein or Frederick S. Perls, but one thing is certain: it is true. We can see it when we look out of the window, watch TV or simply think about ourselves. That’s the bad news.
The good news is that there is a cure for the pandemic of our stupidity: Wisdom.
Theoretically, everyone can be wise. We all have the potential, it’s part of human nature. But to do so, first we have to make a decision, we have to decide to become wise, and secondly, it is hard work. It’s much easier to be stupid. The key point is whether we are willing to take a step back and put first what is best for the situation and then what is best for ourselves.
In Buddhism, they say:
First your happiness and then mine.
Some people will now say that life is very complicated, and that’s true. But if we have the knowledge of how to do something, it becomes easy, whereas if we lack the knowledge, everything appears complicated. When we start to learn something, becoming a doctor, a carpenter or an engineer, it is very difficult at the beginning. With determination and dedication, we can achieve our goals, and so it is with wisdom.
The crux of the matter is whether we want to find reasons why we can’t be wise (that’s the easy way), or whether we want to do the hard work.

WE MUST BE THE FUTURE CONSCIOUSNESS
Wisdom is the only thing that can end our drama and our destructive way of life. Or wisdom is the ability to recognise the miracle of existence in a peaceful and serene way.
Climate change, wars, the destruction of nature, the depression pandemic, or nihilism are not the great challenges of our time. These are just symptoms of our current state of collective consciousness.
THE CHALLENGE FOR EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US IS TO BECOME WISE.
THIS IS THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF THE FUTURE.
Wise people are free, peaceful, serene, kind, and fearless; they accept the darkness as part of the cosmic dance; they are unmanipulable; they are strong and rooted in the eternal present moment.
