Statement on money

The really important things in life have are priceless, and there are not for sale. We cannot buy love, compassion, serenity, meaning, peace, or self-realisation.

The religion of money, neoliberalism, tells us that everything has a price. Our society is built on this philosophy. It is the cancer that eats away at our humanity. However, money itself is just a way of measuring, just like centimeters or inches. A practical tool to facilitate the exchange of things, and that's it, nothing more.

The development of consciousness that leads to self-realisation and a truly meaningful existence cannot be measured. How could it be? 33,457% self-realisation equals 1 million dollars? Or being at peace, all the money in the world?

The experience of oneness is beyond time and space. How can you measure it with an abstract human invention (money)?

Nevertheless, society is what it is, and in the meantime we will to deal with money. But not in the conventional sense, where our contribution is reduced to a product with a fixed price, but with freedom.

Everybody gives what they can afford in their life situation. After all, it is not the same if an African who earns much less than an American has to pay the same price or a young student in relation to a rich businessman.

For this and other reasons, I have decided to work on a donation basis. Except for the books, which have to be fixed for system-related reasons.

So give what you can give, and if you have nothing to give, it doesn't matter. Everyone is welcome on the path of wisdom.
