Only a R-Evolution in Consciousness can Create a New Society
a conscious society means a radical change in consciousness.
Unstoppable
The evolution of consciousness is the essence of life. It is unstoppable. Nothing and nobody can stop the process in which life reaches higher levels of consciousness. It is the destiny of life and, therefore, also ours.
If we are in harmony with this development, we too are unstoppable. We have the power to create new realities that go beyond the extreme limitations of our current society.
History teaches us that the people who believe in the impossible are the ones who change society.
Every R-evolution was impossible until it happened. Today, it seems impossible to create a truly new society, not just a change where we replace kings with democracy, but the madness continues. Of course, we have made significant progress. That is undeniable. But if we look at the planet as a living organism, do we really believe that the earth is in a better state now?
Yes, we are talking about a conscious society, and that means a radical change in consciousness.
The condition for this change is that we become real conscious people.
The solution to the dysfunctionality of the current collective state of consciousness is that we go beyond our ordinary state of mind.
Transforming the madness of (modern) civilisation has become an emergency, and it starts with each of us. As sensitive beings, we have the right, the duty, and the responsibility to raise our levels of consciousness.
Step forward, don’t wait
In evolution, from time to time there is a “great step forward”, a sudden and apparently impossible leap, we can call it a “macroevolutionary leap”. Events that transform reality can be external, like the extinction of the dinosaurs or the Toba super volcano 74 years ago, or internally, like the transition from the religious to the materialistic society.
Evolution has two sides: On the one hand, it is a gradual, more or less constant progression towards greater complexity and higher levels of consciousness. On the other hand, evolution takes grand steps. They are inseparable; one cannot exist without the other.
Part of the evolutionary process is regression, a kind of preparation for the next step. Things become worse and worse. This situation is commonly known as a crisis. We change when we have to.
We abolish slavery because it was morally and economically unsustainable. On an individual level, we all know the stories of people who have gone through Taft times to become wiser, stronger and ultimately more human. Perhaps we have experienced it ourselves. But we know what we are talking about.
We are now living in a mega-crisis with enormous destructive power and great potential.
Our technical and material progress is too fast. We can no longer keep up. We see the signs of this everywhere: a society of fatigue. A pandemic of depression. New fundamentalism in Western societies. Censorship of free speech. Militarisation of political discourse. Destruction of nature.
We are at a crossroads.
Either we shirk our responsibility and become victims, or we face reality as it is and become creators of a new society. Each of us has a decision to make, and it starts now. Not tomorrow, not when circumstances become better, not when the “others” take the first step.
A truly conscious person does not wait. They act with compassion, understanding, and respect. Every small step counts, because the great changes consist of countless small steps.
