Peace or Annihilation

The time for silence is over. We stand on the brink of annihilation, with the specter of nuclear war looming over all humanity. This is not a distant or abstract threat—it has become horrifyingly real with the recent escalating conflict in Ukraine.

The U.S. possesses Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs), each carrying the destructive power to obliterate entire cities. The U.K. wields Trident missiles, submarine-launched warheads capable of launching devastation from the depths of the oceans. Meanwhile, Russia's arsenal includes the apocalyptic RS-28 Sarmat, nicknamed "Satan II," a weapon designed to rain unparalleled destruction across continents.

This is not about politics. This is about survival. These weapons, each capable of triggering a nuclear firestorm and the long, deadly grip of a nuclear winter, have the potential to end life as we know it. Nearly all humans, animals, and plants would perish—not as collateral damage, but as the primary consequence of a single miscalculation.

The actions of politicians today—pushing rhetoric, deploying advanced weaponry, and fanning the flames of war—are acts of staggering irresponsibility and madness. We must ask ourselves: does it matter whether Russia gains a portion of Ukraine, or whether the West retains influence, when the alternative is total extinction? The world cannot afford this gamble.

The arguments presented by these leaders are meaningless when compared to the destructive capacity of weapons like the Poseidon nuclear torpedo or the B61 thermonuclear bombs stationed in Europe. The sheer power of these devices makes it clear: there is no winner in a nuclear conflict. The planet itself will become uninhabitable.

This is not hyperbole. It is a scientific fact. Every RS-24 Yars, B83 bomb, and Vanguard-class submarine is a harbinger of extinction.

The real question is this: what is more important? A patch of land in Eastern Europe—or the survival of humanity? Anyone who claims that territorial disputes are worth risking all life on Earth is delusional.

I call on every leader, every citizen, and every human with a voice: raise it. Shout against this madness. Demand de-escalation. Demand disarmament. Demand peace.

Time is running out. Every second of silence brings us closer to the unthinkable. Act now—before the weapons with names like Satan II, Minuteman III, and Trident bring us to our final, devastating end.
