The Levels of Consciousness - Part Two
Integrale and Nondual Levels of Consciousness
Resume of the Animal Awareness, Pre-Personal and Personal Level
These levels have its functionality in the context of conscious evolution. The animal These levels serve a purpose in the broader context of conscious evolution. Animal awareness lays the foundation—the ground of human existence. The Pre-Personal level moves beyond this animal awareness, marking the beginning of the human consciousness journey. The Personal level, in turn, was essential for transforming pre-personal consciousness, expanding our understanding of reality through scientific discovery and individual experience.
The problems arises when we become stuck at these levels, causing them to become pathological.
Animal awareness corresponds to early childhood, the Pre-Personal level to childhood, and the Personal level to adolescence or puberty. It’s important to recognize that while these levels are natural and necessary, it is not healthy to remain in either childhood or puberty for an entire lifetime.
History and the current state of society, along with the destruction of the planet, serve as stark confirmation of the dangers of getting stuck in these levels of consciousness.
The solution to our collective insanity lies in advancing to the next levels. We will never find a way out of our self-destructive path by remaining within the Pre-Personal and Personal levels of consciousness.
It’s important to note: the Pre-Personal and Personal levels do not need to be eliminated, nor should we attempt to fight against these levels. The key is integration—compassionate, accepting, and gentle integration. We must embrace what is valuable from these levels, heal what can be healed, and leave behind what no longer serves us.
4. The Integral Level
The integral consciousness is the radical shift where life becomes the centre of life, and not humans.

Integration of the various aspects of existence occurs in harmony with nature. At this level, there is identification with the body, mind, and spirit as a unified complex, along with a deeper understanding of higher levels of consciousness. Our work and learning are now focused on self-realization, rather than the pursuit of material things, money, or power.
Society becomes grounded in values of acceptance, respect, and creative expression, where individuality flourishes within the context of interconnectedness.

Historical
There is, in fact, no history as we understand it today for the simple reason that humanity has not yet reached this level of consciousness. The entire history of humankind remains at the Pre-Personal level, and since the Scientific Revolution, at the Personal level. Throughout time, in every culture, a few individuals have realized this higher consciousness, but humanity as a whole has not been mature enough for it.
There are, however, signs that this may be changing. The current global crises present a unique opportunity for humanity to step forward in this direction. Ken Wilber once said that it could take another 200 to 300 years for humanity to collectively reach this level. While the future is uncertain, one thing is clear: the evolution of consciousness has a clear trajectory—toward becoming more and more aware. We are currently at the midpoint of conscious evolution, and the logical next step is integral consciousness.
Existence itself always favors evolution, but sometimes great destruction is needed to make room for the new and the next. So far, this has been our way: great challenges, followed by great destruction, and ultimately, great transformation. At the Integral level, however, this pattern no longer needs to repeat. We will learn for the sake of learning, understanding that learning is life’s innate desire to unfold, to keep evolving, to become more complex and conscious.
When life itself becomes the center of our existence, we develop a truly holistic view. This shift changes everything.
Identity
The shift in identification at this level is so radical and profound that Pre-Personal and Personal humans cannot even imagine or conceptualize it—it is simply beyond their reach.
At this stage, the previous levels are fully integrated, now forming just a small part of our expanded identity. The person or ego is reduced to its natural size, leaving no room for drama or suffering to unfold.
We are no longer the center of life; we are life itself, expressed in the form of a human being.
What does this mean?
- We don't _have_ a life, we _are_ life.
- We define our identity through _being_, not through stories.
- This marks the end of suffering and the beginning of a life lived in grace.
- We don’t _have_ consciousness, we _are_ consciousness.
- No more searching—we find.
- We don’t fight against each other—we collaborate.
- Fear becomes an opportunity for learning.
- We don’t own—we share.
- We see ourselves in others.
- We view life through the eyes of compassion.
We recognize ourselves in the eternal present moment, in the "I Am." We become immortal, understanding that death is merely a transformation of form.
It’s important to note that this is not enlightenment, even though the light of this level shines brightly. There is still a long journey ahead, much to learn, and at times, echoes of the pathological aspects of previous levels may resurface. These echoes can strike hard, but we now know who we are, and we are equipped to handle them. The greatest danger at this level is the emergence of a "spiritual ego," which may try to reclaim control and maintain its position.
Life becomes a dance. Even when we fall—and we will—we rise again without turning it into drama, because we understand that life is about learning, and consciousness is unstoppable. Only from this place can we bring about real change in the world—a radical shift in consciousness.
5. The Nondual Level
The highest form of human existence. Bliss. Cosmic Consciousness. Enlightenment.
Unity - Perfection - Unconditional love - Peace - Serenity - Awaken Awareness - The Self - Selfknowledge - Samadhi - Nirvana
This is the highest known level of human existence. We live in a state of grace and bliss, where everything is perfect as it is. We are one with all, and all is one with us. Any illusion of separation naturally dissolves in the light of Nondual Consciousness. Words cannot truly capture this state, as it transcends duality and is beyond the limits of description.
WE ARE THE NAMELESS, CONSCIOUSLY.

Historical
India and China are likely among the first regions on Earth where nondual beings emerged. In India, particularly, the freedom to express this level of consciousness is unique.
The first well-documented nondual being is Buddha. His life is significant not only because of his enlightenment but also due to his role as a social revolutionary. He is a perfect example of how the highest levels of consciousness can positively impact the lower levels of society.
However, since humanity was not ready to fully understand this level of consciousness, after Buddha's death, his teachings were transformed into a religion—Buddhism. This is a common occurrence, as the lower levels of consciousness cannot grasp the full Spectrum of Consciousness.
Around the same time, Lao Tse in China wrote the _Tao Te Ching_, and in Greece, extraordinary philosophical schools marked a quantum leap in the evolution of consciousness. Some Sufi schools, even older than Islam, were likely founded during this same period.
Another great master of this level is Jesus Christ. However, we can see how teachings of this nature are misinterpreted by lower levels of consciousness, as evident in the rigid structures of Catholic dogma.
Even today, individuals, schools, and traditions across different cultures continue to cultivate and transmit Nondual Consciousness. Christian Mysticism and Advaita Vedanta are just two examples. However, these traditions have never played a significant role in mainstream society, largely because of humanity's lack of maturity and the power structures rooted in money, religion, and power, which recognize the threat this consciousness poses to their dominance.
Identity
The illusion of being a separate individual dissolves. We realize we are, the Nameless, or as the Advaita tradition calls it, the Self. It’s not that we _become_ the Nameless, but rather that the veil is lifted, granting us clear vision. We come to understand that the Self is, and always has been, the only reality.
We still exist as a body/mind/spirit complex, but there is no longer identification with it.
No words can truly describe this state. It is beyond the grasp of mental understanding.
Stillness is where we can “connect” with it, though even the word "connect" falls short of the experience.
This level of consciousness is not something we achieve, but something that is given. It arises without any effort or influence from us. The desire for it is a clear indication of spiritual egoism. There is nothing we can do to bring it about—just as there is nothing we can do to make the sun shine.
We must first master the previous levels of consciousness. Only when we are stable in Integral Consciousness might we one day receive this gift. Ironically, it is only when we no longer seek it, when we no longer care about enlightenment, that it may come.
In any case, living at the Integral level is more than enough. Once we are truly at home in this level, the desire for enlightenment becomes absurd.
However, it is essential to cultivate a connection with the Nondual Field. Maintaining this connection is vital, as the nondual field provides the "fuel" for our journey. It serves as the perfect "shield" against ignorance, madness, and stupidity.
Once one is one, no more, no less, error begins with duality, Unity knows no error.
