I Am — Understanding Our True Self — Part 5

I Am and the Practice the Experience of I Am

I Am

I Am because I Am.
I Am is the only real that exists.
I Am; consciousness is I Am.
Cosmic consciousness is I Am.
Individual consciousness is I Am.
I Am is perfection and imperfection.
Pure perception is I Am, and the human consciousness that arises from pure perception is I Am.
Stillness and contemplation is I Am.
All actions, all beings, all matter, and all non-matter, is I Am.
Of course, nature is I Am, too. Learn from it, nature is the master.
I Am is time and no time, space and no space, fullness and nothingness.
Emptiness is I Am. So is eternity.
To live consciously in the I Am is the highest form of existence.

Practice the Experience of I Am

Now, at this moment, you are I Am.
You are the present moment, not the limited personal self, which is only an infinitesimal part of I Am.
The place where you are is I Am.
The I Am never changes; it is neither the content nor the observer.
I Am is all there is, and the reason why everything is, therefore, you are it. All content is ever-changing.
Life never stands still, but the I Am is always the same.
Pure presence. Pure beingness is I Am.

Now, 10 minutes ago, the content was a little different, but I Am remains the same.
One hour ago, the same. A day ago, the content and the experience changed again, but I Am stays unchanged, pure presence is ever present.
A year ago, 10 years ago, the same story.

You may wonder why the personal self feels like a solid identity.
No matter when we experience it, as a little boy, as an older girl, as an adult or as an older person, the personal self always feels like something solid.
The I Am has a mysterious connection to the personal self, and the path of self-realisation leads through the personal self.
Unconsciously, hidden, and unknown in the depths of our souls, the I Am contemplates the personal self.

When your parents were born, I Am.
100 years ago, I Am was present, and so were you.
1000 years ago, 100,000 years ago, from the beginning, if there was a beginning, or in eternity, I Am was always present.
This is the practice, it never fails. When you forget, you do it in I Am, and when you remember, too.
I Am is the end of suffering and fear. It is the clear vision of what you are at the deepest level.
