Who You Are Is the Source of Everything — Understanding Our True Self — Part 9
The Source — Everybody Needs Their Time — Interconnectedness Is Oneness — The Source Is You — Is There a Better Way to Live?
The Source
There is something
Before everything
Without a name
Infinite names are given
Call it the SourceEverything and everyone
Come and go
Out of the Source
The coming and going
Is the SourceNo life
No death
No you
No me
No us
No light nor shadows
Will be
Without the SourceWe cannot find it
It is always
Searching is useless
Be still and see and feel
Be what you are
Everybody Needs Their Time
All are interconnected, nothing exists by itself. But our conditioned experience is different. We feel that we are someone who has a life, who does, who acts, who lives, and who dies.
We experience life as it happens to us. On one side is our (personal) self, and on the other side is the rest (Life). This view is part of the evolution of consciousness. It is neither wrong nor right, just as it is neither wrong nor right for a child to believe in Santa Claus. As long as we believe it, it will be our reality.
At this level, it is pointless to try to explain a more mature view of life. Everyone needs time to grow up.
By deepening our understanding of reality, we realize that life does not happen to us and that we are not separate.
Interconnectedness Is Oneness
Once we understand interconnectedness, we open the door to Oneness.
If all are interconnected, then all are one.
All the smallest particles are part of something bigger, and each particle is the essence of that bigger thing.
All the cells of our body together are the body, and each cell carries the essence of the whole body.
All people together form humanity, and each person carries the essence of all humanity.
All the stars together form the galaxy, and each star carries the essence of the galaxy.
All galaxies together are the cosmos, and each galaxy is the essence of the entire cosmos.
Now that the circle is complete, the smallest particle carries the whole cosmos within it.
The Source Is You
Thinking this through to the end, and not getting lost in mental abstraction, we conclude that we are the essence of the source, and therefore we are the source.
We can relax; come what comes, it is the Source; it is Oneness.
